Femmes Vignes Rhone (Women Winemakers of the Rhone Valley)
was created in 2004 by Anne Hughes, a winegrower in
the Luberon at Domaine de la Royère, and the
President of Inter-Rhone Michel Bernard.
Femmes Vignes Rhone members cover many
fields of wine related professions including wine growers/makers,
onologists, sommeliers, wine brokers, wine merchants,
sales, marketing and public relations specialists, and
journalists.
With more than 30 members, the association
represents the appellations Cotes du Rhone, Cotes du
Rhone Villages, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Visan, Vacqueyras,
Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise, Coteaux du Tricastin, Cotes
du Ventoux, Cotes du Luberon et Costières de

The FVR association is full of energy, willing and good
humour, grouping women of many different outlooks, nationalities
and ages. This rich diversity allows for open, constructive
and useful exchanges, where all members of the group
can benefit from their common experiences.
